Sam Rubin, the longtime entertainment anchor for KTLA in Los Angeles, has passed away at the age of 64. The news was announced on air by fellow anchor Frank Buckley.

Rubin was a veteran journalist who anchored KTLA's entertainment coverage for more than 30 years. He joined the station in 1991 and quickly became one of its most popular reporters. He was known for his warm and engaging personality, as well as his in-depth coverage of the entertainment industry.

In addition to his work on KTLA, Rubin also hosted his own television show, "Hollywood Uncensored with Sam Rubin." The show ran for over 100 episodes and featured interviews with some of the biggest names in entertainment.

Rubin was a respected member of the Los Angeles media community and will be deeply missed by his colleagues, friends, and family. His death is a great loss to the entertainment industry and to everyone who knew him.
